I chose Mary Elliott to help with our home renovation. She was so good at guiding us through extensive redecorating on the first and second floor of our three story condo. She was great at figuring out our style and managing all the work that we wanted done, which included replacing the flooring on both the first and second floors, repainting the kitchen cabinets, picking out new countertops and backsplash, redoing our fireplace and building wall to wall bookshelves in our family room. I not only picked a great decorator, I think I now have a new friend. I would recommend her for any of your decorating needs, large or small.

Mary did an amazing job designing my entire Weddington home. She was involved from the start of the building process helping with kitchen and bathroom selections and designs. She has the vision and creativity to create a great design with functionality. Mary will give her opinions and recommendations but always incorporates your personal style into the design. She has a wonderful attitude and is fun to work with. She took time to get to know us and our meetings became my favorite part of the process. It was very helpful that Mary has access to a large selection of high quality suppliers. I would highly recommend Mary to anyone that is building or redoing a house or need any interior design services.

We’ve been working with Mary on & off over the past few years. Back in 2006 we had just built our house; at that time my husband and I both were overseas working. We needed someone to help decorate our entire home while we were out of the country. Mary was Great! She’s such a Great person and decorator. She’s very Professional and was wonderful to work with. My home looked like something out of a magazine, we were very pleased with her and the results. She does everything from custom drapery and bedding, furniture, rugs, wall paper, painting etc…the list goes on and on. She definitely exceeded my expectations and took my vision for my home to another level!

Mary has been a joy to work with! She understood my style right away, and used 3d technology to help place my furniture before we even moved in. She is very responsive to questions, budgets, and the needs of my entire family, in the process of making our home both beautiful and uniquely “ours.” Mary helped us with some furniture and rugs, all of our window treatments, art placement and purchase, plus hardwood floors and repainting the entire interior after closing and before move-in.

Mary came to my house several times to consult with paint colors, wallpaper and fabric selections. Her creative ideas and selections were just perfect to help update and complete my mini spring renovation. Mary’s warm and friendly personality makes you feel so comfortable. She takes the time to address all issues and never makes you feel rushed. I just love her, you will too!

We love working with Mary! She has been our go to decorator for almost 20 years at different stages of our lives. She is willing to help and make things work depending on your budget. We always get compliments on any projects she has been a part of in our home. She is a very friendly, talented, and fair designer!

Mary and her crew did an awesome job with my dining room and living room. Everyone that comes to my home loves my Custom made drapes. I loved how Mary really took time to capture the look I wanted. This company is a great company I am looking forward to our next project together.

We had just moved to the Charlotte area and Mary worked with us to decorate our entire home including flooring, walls, drapery, furniture and accessories. She was quickly able to assess our needs and wants and to come up with a creative and functional design plan that worked within our budget and time-frame while making our house into a beautiful showplace. She was extremely professional and made the entire process fun and stress free.

I chose Mary simply because she was so near to me. However, I didn’t count on the immediate rapport between us. I’m sure that she was simply using her experience and education on reading my tastes, but she was dead on in giving me the drapes that I liked. She listened to me as I explained a detailed idea I had for the breakfast room, made a sketch to show me her idea for the dining and great rooms. We agreed that the fabrics must coordinate and must be earth tones. She then went to her truck, brought back two books of fabric swatches, and I chose the second idea she presented. All this took about 2 hours. I thought that I could get the high end shades for the dining room on my own, but sure enough, her vendor not only was less expensive, but the installation was free!! It’s been 8 years and the drapes are still beautiful, and were of such high quality that they remain not only in style, but are still in good shape. I couldn’t be happier!

Our den and dining room needed updates to add more seating for gatherings in our home as well as a drapery to give us privacy from the roadway. Mary Elliott of Decorating Den Interiors is truly a talented designer and was a pleasure to work with on this project. We met with Mary and she openly listened to our ideas on colors, flooring, draperies, and seating. She took it from there and met with us once again to go over the plans. She brought to us some ideas that we hadn’t even thought of, e.g. décor for bookshelves, fireplace, lighting and walls. Her ideas were fresh, new and she focused on our likes and dislikes and what we wanted for this update. She gave us options for seating arrangements, and helped us to make decisions on fabric choices. Mary was very considerate of our ideas, as well as our schedule. We look forward to entertaining in our new den and dining room. Our future plans are to update our master bedroom and it is to Mary Elliott that we will go to for her professional services.

I have had Mary Elliott at Decorating Den Interiors provide her services throughout most of my home. She has proven excellent in finding just the right furniture, excessories, drapes, painting and wallpaper to make my home the showpiece that it is today. I have received many a compliment on her work. Her skills in draperies are exceptional. She has provide me with just the right fabrics and interesting styles.

Mary worked within our budget and completed everything on time. We have received numerous compliments and plan to have Mary help again in the future
