Memories of Paris

Mary’s client wanted to update her traditional living room, wanting it to be glamourous, comfortable and sophisticated with a nod to her favorite place ~ Paris. She asked to keep her faux paint on the walls and was keeping the piano and some artwork.

Project Overview:

Mary selected the amethyst kidney-shaped, tufted velvet sofa and the complimentary ivory tufted-back wing chairs with gold leaf legs. The client loved the curves and style. The clover shaped cocktail table makes a great center piece for the room, keeping it light and bright. Knowing her client’s love of Paris, Mary found the contemporary artwork of the Eiffel Tower. An important choice was the flooring as a flood had damaged the existing hardwood. In the end it was decided to fit a light patterned carpet. The client also decided to change the wall color to tie in with a recent renovation.
